Hey guys, just wanted to let everybody know that I'm still alive and will be posting more Mortal Kombat redesigns soon!

I've been busy with finals for school this week and will probably be busy next week, but then I'll be getting out of school for the summer and be able to focus on art that I WANT to do and not assigned to do, haha.

Anyways, I'll be dog sitting at someone's house in 2 weeks, and last time I watched their house I broke out like 10 MK redesigns within a week, so get ready to have your notifications flooded with MK stuff.

Alright, so as some of you know I like to do redesigns of characters, especially Mortal Kombat. Well, I've been think long and hard and decided I want to send a portfolio to Netherrealm Studios, showcasing some of my MK redesigns as well as other stuff.

So I'm deciding right now to rework some of my old MK designs as well as do some new redesigns of characters (I'm thinking Baraka). So please whoever is looking at this, hold me accountable to my word. I have a habit of losing interest in long projects, but if you guys pester me to work on it and comment on my new MK stuff it will inspire me to work harder at this.

your fave game series? Hmmmm, game series. I like Tekken and Mortal Kombat, but the one that hasn't disappointed me so far is Super Smash Bros. They always seem to raise the bar for themselves and I never get bored of it.

who do you admire? No one specifically. Any concept artist working in the industry right now, I don't know how you get into that, haha.

what do you like to read? Don't read too often, but books/comics I've enjoyed are: Watchmen, V for Vendetta, The God Delusion, and Contrary Notions.

fave hero, antihero, villain?
Hero: Goku
Antihero: Zuko I guess. Does he fall in that category? haha.
Villain: Joker, hands down. A villain without a cause.

fave food? Ice cream. I can't live without my ice cream.

what films do you like? The Prestige, Moon, 500 Days of Summer, Across The Universe, The Dark Knight, Watchmen.

would you be a werewolf, vampire or claymore? Vampire I guess.

So I've done two Mortal Kombat character redesigns and currently working on Reptile, and I have to say I want to do a lot more. It's a lot of fun sitting at my computer chair trying to think up how to make a certain character better and stay true to their background. So I think I'll be doing a series of Mortal Kombat characters. I've already finished Scorpion, Ermac, and almost Reptile, so any suggestions on who I should do next? I kinda want to stray away from the other ninjas at the moment. Sadly, I abandon ideas faster than I think up ones, so hopefully seeing this journal entry greet me every time I login will motivate me to continue this little project.

Hey, I just started Deviantart and im looking to display all of my artwork. Most of my stuff will probably be my "Salvation" project. I'm working on making it a hit cartoon one day once i finish school at The Art Institute. My other stuff will probably be my traditional drawings, usually music related. haha.
